Guiding Stars
Every organization, every project has three important pillars on which it is upheld: its mission that is the purpose for which it exists, its vision which is like a photograph for the future, what it intends to become through its work, and its values which are the ideas that guide the way the members of the organization or project think. Here at Project MATE, we take these pillars very seriously and work towards strengthening them to the best of our abilities.
Negative headlines such as those shown in the video flood our newspapers every other day and reflect the multiple issues that surround adolescents in this age and era. However, the very same video also shows us (albeit fewer) positive headlines, the headlines which act as the rays of hope in an ever-increasing darkening scenario. If we wish for our young students to become resilient and face life’s challenges with strength, it is time we understand the importance of joining forces. All of us need to be involved, from schools which serve as the foundational stone to nurture young minds, to educators who inspire children to dream big and innovate, and finally to parents who have the challenging task of raising a happy, healthy, and confident child. Let us hold hands to help strengthen our nation.
“Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much”
No great thing in life has ever been achieved by one person alone. The way forward is only with joint effort. Get involved in the Project by signing up as either a school, a parent or a student; and together we shall build a nation of capable and resilient individuals.
Project MATE has received extensive media coverage right from its inception. Take a look at the major press features that we have received over time.
